S’mores, Anyone?

The kids were so excited waiting for the fire to start. Tom did a good job piling up the wood and starting the fire. At the beginning, there were lots of sparkles, so Caden and Makayla stayed a bit further away, just admiring the fire stars…

Then they watched us did one or two before they wanted their hands on experiences. I may have overstuffed the s’mores with too more chocolate on the first few ones. One of those per person is more than enough to satisfy our sweet tooth. The extension on the skewers helped keeping those little hands off the heat. I think they were still a bit heavy for the kiddies as we lost quite a few marshmallows to the fire pit. They loved roasting the marshmallows than eating them!!!
