It has been another month since I did any scrapbooking. In fact, I have only unpacked this week from the Reflections 2009 scrapbook weekend. So little time, especially in the Irvine home since I have been spending more time in Redondo Beach.
Knowing my hectic schedule, I pre-booked this one day of cropping a month ago with Yvette. I figure once I put it in the calendar, I have much better chance of actually finishing up some projects. She scheduled it in the meetup group, so there are two other girls joined us for the day. Each of us brought an appetizer as this is a long day. I didn’t cook, instead, just picked up something from the Chinese store. Scrapbooking is my top priority for the day!
A good thing, I was very productive. I finished two 12” x 12” layouts and three cards with the leftover scrap papers & embellishments.
The two layouts are from one of the Reflections class taught by Mara-May. I love the complexity of the layers and the subject is me, a seldom scrapbook topic so far for me. My products in the past had always been the nephews and niece. Still need to put the journeling on, but at least that shouldn't be a problem. I can write contents...
I need to book another one for July, as I certainly have many many other projects in the bin, a reminder to email Yvette…
