Oven French Toast with Orange Apple Syrup

This is a recipe from Florida's Natural. I don't recall how I got it, probably from one of those grocery handout. But it is really good, especially when you have leftover ingredients you need to use up. All the ingredients are easy staples. And you can prep and let it soak up the juice overnight. So for someone with a low patience personality (me, me, me), this is perfect. If I were really hungry and must eat now, I just panfry the toast!!!

The syrup can use a bit more sugar. Of course, I normally just make it with any orange juice, not necessary the Florida's Natural version, so the acidity may be vary. I also added some cream to thicken up the syrup. Anyway, here it is...
P.S. While writing this up, I found couple other recipes on the site to test out at next opportunity!!! Oh they sound so yummy: Baked Orange Pecan French Toast and Almond-Stuffed Battered French Toast with Orange Glaze
