The Valentine weekend started with some semi homemade cupcakes for the kiddies. Caden is exchanging Valentines with his classmates, all 32 of them. So this “ee” has been delegated by his mommy to make cupcakes for school.Being just coming back from OZ, I wasn’t ready to dig out the recipes and make everything from scratch. It is a good thing that Brenda bought a few boxes of cupcake mix after Christmas sales. I have all the baking gadgets so it wasn’t difficult, but just a bit time consuming.
The instruction on the box was not fully correct. The baking time took longer to dry out the cupcakes in the oven. Then we had to wait for them to cool off before frosting them.Both Brenda and Caden helped with the batching, pouring the mix into the cups, putting the frosting on, and adding the sprinkles. But by the time we are working on the 3rd batch, Caden was looking for bed. Nevertheless, it was good to see little ones after being away for a month.
