A Few Good Things

I want to close out the trip with some positive thoughts of doing a family reunion on a cruise.

  • Having all the family together in one place and without the “need” to entertain them is a big PLUS.
  • Not having to cook every meal (since Vanessa and I are the only one who would end up with the meal planning on a family vacation), that was definitely easy.
  • Seeing all the kids together is precious even though dining together with them is entirely different story.
  • Being already in a loud environment, the kids’ are just part of the overall background. We don’t have to tell them to behave every 5 minutes.
  • Great to have family pictures taken by a 3rd party (of course, they are expensive on the ship). If we were not on a cruise, then it would take some effort to coordinate that.
