I set a low expectation for our onboard accommodation since we got such a deal on this trip. Surprisingly, I rated my room to be better than the one Tom and I shared on our NCL Alaska cruise!!!
There are 39 cabins on the boat, each have en-suite shower bath, recently renovated in summer of 2009. I chose to have my own room since there were five of us in total. Mom and Dennis snore like choo choo trains, so they were perfect to room together. And my two sisters could gossip the night away on their own…All our 3 rooms were in the lower deck. Each room has a window that look out to the water line of the Nile river, pretty cool.
As for the rest of common areas, they are nice, nothing like the gigantic cruise ship obviously. The staffs were very friendly and services were excellent. The last picture is to show how they tied multiple river cruise boat together when dock. There are lots of traffic on the Nile during any day.
