2010 SoCal Shophop Day 4: San Diego

As a very enthusiastic Scrapbook Shophop participant, I met up with Vanessa in San Diego. The Tams were there for the weekend. I didn’t want to drive all the way down there from Palos Verdes and came back up all by myself. So I got on the Amtrak in Oceanside (Tom dropped me off as he detoured to Temecula to play in the casino). I was told my nephews were very much envy of Aunty Joanna because she could ride the train. An uneventful hour later, I arrived at the San Diego station, just couple blocks away from the W Hotel, where the Tams are staying.

Scrapbooking Your Life: National Treasure – The store put in some real effort with the movie theme and the associated pages. A big applaud for their involvement. All the extra charms up for offer were very unique too. But they were like $8 each piece. Too much.

The Stamp Addict: Viva Las Vegas – This is mainly a stamp shop, not really my cup of tea, but it is on the list and nearby. I got this cute stamp, a row of houses, I thought I MIGHT use it for a change of address notification. Of course, I have moved since March this year and have not officially sent out anything YET and Christmas is already coming….oh man.

Paper Tales: An American in Paris – This store nicely displayed their merchandise, very girly and hip, very OC. I like their selection of merchandise. Too bad I didn’t discover this store when I was living in Irvine. Now, I am too far away.
