I found Euro, next door to Urbane, which I had been before. This is supposed to be a less formal version of Urbane. I am all for less formal. Besides work clothes, I only have jeans with me!
I met up with Simon from the refinery. I wish I have more stomach to try different dishes here. I would need to come back here again in the future. They seem to have wonderful selection of charcuterie and I love charcuterie.
Regardless I figure I can just do two entrees or a half portion of a normal main. Yes, as the saying said, my eyes are bigger than my stomach.
I love my Warm baked figs and Jamondul Gran Reserva Serrano, whipped gorgonzola and mascarpone, with rosemary infused honey. Oh, I guess that jelly sweet thing must be the rosemary infused honey???
As for main, I ordered the half portion of the daily pasta special, duck with pasta. I couldn’t remember the full detailed description. I gave half of that away to Simon too. Way too much food! In fact, I probably could skip meals for a week….Back on the walking and gym routine in the morning.
Simon ordered Stuffed saddle of Macleay Valley rabbit, young autumn vegetables, artichoke purée, mushrooms and tarragon pie. We found the smallest ribs we ever seen. You can see his finger as scale in my picture below.
I had to stop at midway through my pasta, probably too heavy of a selection. I should have stuck with a salad!
I do like the restaurant setting and the cutest coasters, stash for my scrapbook embellishment collection, not that I need any more, but hey it was free.
