There is this tiny little hole-in-the-wall place we passed by often on PCH. We often wonder how they can survive as a restaurant. It is basically an old house being used as a café. It must be grandfather in somehow ages ago. There is no parking lot, you park on the street, I assume.
This morning Tom and I were craving for a hot breakfast. Tom’s favorite breakie place, Original Pancake House, had a 45 minutes wait time, crazy, isn’t it? We had to find somewhere else, my stomach couldn’t wait that long!
I have to admit Tom had to arm twisted me to the Cozy Café. He had never been there before, but the outside curb appeal is like a big 0. I figure it would be some greasy spot …
Surprise, surprise…of course, no décor to talk about at all but the place inside was packed and it had a decent menu for weekend breakfast. I had a great omelet with guacamole.
Curb appeal---NONE.
Food appeal---Very GOOD.
