Feeling it….Not Really

I have been asked many times in the last few weeks about how I feel physically from the pregnancy.

So far, I think I have been luck out. I have not experienced any pregnancy sickness. In early September while I was on vacation in Vancouver, I slept a lot, like a good nap every afternoon. I am not sure if that is due to pregnancy, or just the fact that I was overwhelmed with everything happening so fast that when I finally had a moment to relax, I went into hibernating mode.

I do feel bloated most of the time. At times, my mid section would look like I am about to go into labor. I think it has to do with my prenatal vitamins, my food selection and just the body adjusting and slowing down on the digestive system.

However, this week, the mid section is definitely flattened out compare to the last 3 weeks. I switched the vitamins. I ate more vegetables. I haven’t had any red meat in a week even though I love it. I have oatmeal, milk, fruit, most morning. I do feel wheezy if I don’t have any breakfast. I do get hungry more often but I can’t really consume too much in one setting.

My consumption of water increases a lot. I feel thirsty all the time. And then I run to the bathroom all the time. This also means my nights are often interrupted with nature calls. Not happy about that. But if that is the only thing I have to deal with, I shouldn’t be complaining!!!

As far as clothing, my pants are tight around the waistline and tummy area. My skirts and dresses are still fitting well.

However, all these blessings also mean I don’t have any answer for the question “how’s the baby?” That means, girlfriends, I don’t know anything until my next visit, and hopefully, I would know more then.
