It has been a few days since I proposed to Tom about going to Disneyland for his birthday. He has been sick and the weather was not cooperating, wet and cold. We finally went on Tuesday as the sun finally showed its head, thinking that it would be fewer people since it is a weekday. Gosh, I was so wrong.
We did not set a firm time to get out of the house, so by the time we got there; it was already after 11am in the morning. The line to get ticket was so long; think it took us about half hour just to get admitted!!!
Once inside, we were only able to do the following (due to long waiting time for each ride):
- Snow White's Scary Adventures – thought it was a short wait, compared to others…
- It's a Small World – 40 minutes wait, but I love the songs and the Christmas theme.
- The Mark Twain Steam Boat – no waiting, so we got on…
- The Indiana Jones Adventure – the big show, 65 minutes in line, and the ride may be 3 minutes long, must get the “fastpass” next time (we were not smart about that!)
- Honey, I Shrunk the Audience – 7 minutes to show and no waiting
- Innovention Dream Homes – thought we may get some ideas for our house hunting.
- Christmas Fantasy Parade – we got stuck because the parade is about to start and we couldn’t leave anyway!!! But I am glad we stayed and watched, even for a shortie here.
By midday, we agreed to get the annual pass and come back on another day with fewer people and shorter line. We even had to wait in line to get the annual pass, but Tom is happy with a big scoop of ice cream to finish his day. What a kid!
