Break of Dawn

I have been wanting to try out this relatively new restaurant, Break of Dawn. Since Tom is out of town on business and visiting his sisters in northern California over the weekend, I decided to take mom out for brunch on Sunday morning after staging the house a bit for the sales. Besides, I had to escape from the house as potential buyers are coming to see the place.

By the time I picked her up and arrived at the restaurant, it was already after 11 am. Yes, I did want breakfast, but after browsing the menu, the non-breaky items were very tempting. I ordered braised duck legs for me and short ribs for mom. They both were good, but pretty heavy dish for summer breakfast. What was I thinking???
