I didn’t think I would have time for
Scrapbook Expo this year, but hey, a girl got to have some fun. This location is a bit of a drive from Redondo Beach. But since Tom was occupied with a golf game on the tube, I figured I can go play with some scrapbook stuffs, just to see what’s new and trendy.
I got here much later than the last time when I went with Vanessa a few years back. I had to park at the further out parking lot. I thought there is a recession going on. But looking at the long lines at vendor booths, you wouldn’t think so. There were some great deals.
I took two classes this trip.
(1) A two page layout by
Melissa Frances product line. I visited their booth too. Here is the thing, I like the shabby chic style, but not necessary to live with this style. I love way too many styles and I just couldn’t really decide what is my most favorite!!! Scary.
(2) Halloween album by
Tattered Angels. I wasn’t planning to do mini album anymore but I really want to learn about Glimmer Mist product and its applications. I think this is so cool, you spray on pretty much anything and you get some sparkles. Some are definitely more subtle than others. So fun. Of course, this is a class photo, mine is in the “in progress” stash…
