Live Boxing Match at Pechanga

We got two complimentary tickets to a boxing match. This was sponsored by Showtime Boxing. The match was MOLINA vs. HONORIO. It was the weekend after T Day. We had nothing planned since I wasn’t going to do the mad dash to the shopping malls anyway. We might as well head down to Pechanga Casino & Resort in Temecula to watch this. Plus, we also got a complimentary night of accommodation there.

I am no big fan of boxing. I just cannot understand what the fun is in watching two grown men punching at each other. But apparently it is quite popular …. Me, on the other hand, during the entire time, I was hoping that the match would be done quickly. It was painful to watch especially when the seats were “good”.

Then between each round, you have some skinny girl parading around on the stage in her bikini with a sign showing the round number. Matchstick skinny, the man sat next to me called them twitty birds. Well, definitely a new experience for me, pretty sure once is sufficient to lock into this memory bank here.
