Restaurant 'Cuisine Savoureuse' in Zuidland

Zuidland is a small town in the South Holland and lies about 6 km west of Spijkenisse (my usual overnight accommodation). While asking a colleague for yet another dinner recommendation, he mentioned his own little hometown of Zuidland and Hotel Blessing. What a great find! It‘s a boutique hotel that was restored from an old council house and school built in the1878. I may stay here next time but my only concern is the internet connection. I must have that, and I should ensure a ground level room as I am certain there is no elevator here for my luggage!!!

The hotel restaurant is gorgeously white and warm on this wet wintery night. The town square center hung streams of lights, look Christmasy…even though I am pretty sure this is how it looks each night!

Dinner is excellent again….worth asking for local recommendation anytime!!! I had a mushroom wintery salad as starter but I couldn’t recall what I had for main as I DID NOT take a picture. My memory is sporadic on details, so no picture, no recall…
