Meeting Tom in Las Vegas

After my week of business in Toledo, I flew home, but had to meet up with Tom in Las Vegas. He happened to have training during the same week I was in Toledo. During his training, he got to stay at Aria. When I got there, we got complimentary stay at Planet Hollywood. Not the best, but hey it was free…probably one of the last stay from this place, as they changed hand now. And Tom didn’t play there anymore.

It was a short stay. I got in on Friday night and left Sunday afternoon, got laundry to do before flying again on Monday! All I had in was some shopping at the mall, and a nice brunch on Saturday morning at Bouchon Bistro. Love Bouchon, they have excellent simple food. I had the Chicken and Waffle, weird combo on a plate. But the waffles were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. And the chicken was juicy and tasty. The size of the chicken was small, so I assumed it wasn’t your everyday hormone induced poultry. Tom had the Steak and Frites. The fries were thin but not overly cooked to the point you couldn’t taste any potato inside. I was picking them off his plate. And the steak was perfectly cooked. I didn’t cared for the caramelize onion/topping it had. I like my steak simple.

Too bad, no pictures too. This was our second round, just need to go back again, don’t you think?
