The downstairs guest rooms (my pseudo craft room) share a guest bath.
This is the before picture.
This is the after picture. What a difference with a coat of paint. I usually favor bright bold color. I chose this red paint "Spiced Berry (DEA149) to compliment the floral tiles on the counter. The center of each flower is a deep maroon red.
It used to have peeling linoleum flooring. We replaced it with penny tiles for a retro look. I love the effect. It took two times to get the tile work laid properly. It was very difficult and we didn’t employ the best contractor. At least we only had to pay once. We replaced the faucets and cabinet knobs, made a big difference too!
This door opens to the maintenance area where the water heater and heating system is. The mirror reflects a big French window for this guest bath. Very good air circulation if you open the window.
I actually love this bathroom more than our master bath. Because this is an older home, the master bath is nothing to brag about, pretty much same size as this one. The previous owner put in very ordinary tile, so boring!!!! But we couldn’t justify changing it out just for cosmetic effect for now. There are so many other priorities, maybe later in a few years when we recoup a bit first!
