Downstairs Guest Room

Remember what I said about Tom’s concern of my foo foo decoration. Yeap, I do have one room for this feminine outlet.

This guest room is downstairs, sandwiched between the craft room (converted from a 4th bedroom) and the master bedroom. It is the smaller of the two furnished guestrooms in the house. It has a queen bed with wood floor, standard closet with bi-folding wood door and window. The room is painted in "Regency Cream (DE5325)". I am going for a French country, eclectic look. I love Anthropologie store at the moment, loving this bright color quilt on the bed from them. I bought fabric to hang as curtain, very summery and light look at the moment.

We left Tom’s old dresser and TV in there. Eventually, I want to repaint it to match the rest of the room, maybe a whitewash? It is too brown now. I hung a few of my cross stitch pieces in this room. I got to have somewhere to display them rather than piling up in dust in the garage!!! After all, it was/is one of my favorite hobbies for a long time. And this center piece “girl with the bunny” took a very long time to finish, with at least 50 shades of color threads, one stitch at a time…There is a companion piece, a boy, but right now, I really doubt I would ever get to it….

On top of the night stands are little lamps from Ikea, with my whimsical butterflies...

Behind the door are big tile hangers with very pointy shoes on them...Yes, did I not say this is my foo foo room....
