Long Bar at Raffles Hotel

This afternoon, I would be taking off on my long flight back to Los Angeles. My colleague, still had not seen see the famous Raffles Hotel yet. So I invited him to come with Ira and me for a proper drink at the Long Bar. Singapore Sling of course, as this was where this iconic drink supposedly been created!!!

Raffles is always lovely to browse around. I love their gift shop, but really couldn’t find anything I must have…strange, but that seemed to be the case more often now. Perhaps I am wiser now; I think about how does this new piece would fit in my home before I get it. If it doesn’t fit, well, a photograph for my memory bank is sufficient.

More conversations, more laughs, and more promises to keep in touch, and of course on the last part, we only do it very limited, like once a year limited!!! Haha. But that is what long terms & long distance friends are. We are lucky if we get to see each other once every few years. I still count myself blessed.
