What is a desert without sand dunes...so we found ourselves at this easily accessible one off Hwy 190. When I saw this place, I thought of the Sahara. Sand dunes in desert has a totally different feel than the ones you find on a beach. That desolated feeling just pours out of me. That feeling of how small and short live we humans really are in the big scheme of mother nature. And of course, all those sad and romantic stories of love found and lost in between the sky and the sand.
