But friendship takes both ways, so we drove down there with more food and wine, plus a nice bottle as his birthday gift, to Yvette’s condo. She was hosting it. I brought over Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus and Marinated Mozzarella Caprice Skewers.
It was nice to see a few folks that I haven’t seen since our wedding, yes, our wedding, like almost 2 years ago. Too busy at work plus I practically didn’t entertain for an entire year…The guests were good cooks, so plenty of great food, plus of course, these are wine snobs. Dat broke out couple nice bottles, aged a while now for the special occasion….
This is the birthday boy.
Well, needless to say, diet was not in the plan for me at all this entire weekend.
