Hopkins Wilderness Park

We accidentally discovered the Hopkins Wilderness Park!!! We were running errands, and I spotted what looks like a camping area in the middle of the city. I said to Tom, “Honey, do you know there is a camp ground there?” He was surprised; living in Redondo Beach for like 7 years now, never came across it….We circled around and made a stop in to check out the place.

I doubt I would want to actually camp out here, but it was good to see the city did leave some green space even when the price of the land was probably outrageously valued than a park…but hey, how can one put a price on “green” space….Good for them.
