After the Japanese meal this evening, the night still young. And this is the only night out of the week where retail stores (except restaurants and groceries) are opened late. I was still struggling with jetlag. I used to handle it much better, now my body is resisting big time. I figure I should just browse around a bit before getting back to the hotel room immediately.
I went to David Jones at Queen Plaza. This department store, I would equivalent it to like a Nordstorm; whereas Myer is like a Macy's. I do love this store, but since the exchange rate has gone to the dump these days, and since Australia didn't go through the financial bubbles like the US, everything is like ~30% more than previous years...yuck! So this is truly a window shopping trip. I did find these books that I would list them on Amazon wishlist to monitor for future purchase in the US.

For example, this beautiful hardcover book, Decorate: 1,000 Design Ideas for Every Room in Your Home, who would want to pay A$60 when you can get it from Amazon now for less than US$25?
1. Decorate, 2. My Sri Lankan Kitchen, 3. Maun's French Kitchen, 4. Secrets of the Red Lantern, 5.Jamie Does Spain, 6. Bill's Open Kitchen
Onto the next shop, T2. I must have been here prior. It is quite commercialized; therefore, the shop is well staged. I love browsing tea shops, sample some here and there, and smell a bunch. This is kind of like sampling different fragrants at the department store cosmetic counters. You do get overwhelmed! I added Sencha Sensation to my tea collection! This is a blend of Sencha with rose, sunflower and cornflower is a subtle taste sensation. Smell wonderfully and yummy!
